Tuhansien järvien maassa, loputtomien metsien ja jäisen pakkasen keskellä, kohoaa raskaan metallin linnake – METALITY Chapter Suomi. Täällä, missä Joulupukki asuu ja 58 bändiä jokaista 100 000 asukasta kohden saa ilman värähtelemään, sykkii metallin sydän kovemmin kuin missään muualla.
Tukikohtamme sijaitsee järven rannalla Mieholassa, lähellä Hauhoa. Siellä yhdistämme kaiken, mikä tekee Suomesta ainutlaatuisen: saunan, oluen, lonkeron, Koskenkorvan – talvella glögiä, kesällä simaa – ja murtumattoman metalliyhteisön yhteenkuuluvuuden.
Mutta voimamme ulottuu pidemmälle kuin kitarariffeihin. Samalla päättäväisyydellä, jolla murskaamme lavan, sitoudumme myös sosiaalisiin tekoihin. Suomi näyttää projekteilla kuten ”Housing First”, että kovuus ja sydän kulkevat käsi kädessä – periaate, jota mekin elämme.
Ja jos eksyt syvälle metsään ja kohtaat harhailevan metallibändin – älä huoli. Tarinan mukaan kaksi kolmasosaa metsänvartijoiden tehtävistä on juuri tätä varten. Se on Suomi.

In the land of a thousand lakes, amidst endless forests and biting frost, a bastion of heavy metal rises – the METALITY Chapter Finland. Here, where Santa Claus resides and 58 bands per 100,000 inhabitants shake the air, the heart of metal beats louder than anywhere else.
Our stronghold lies by a lakeshore in Miehola near Hauho. There we unite what Finland truly embodies: sauna, beer, Lonkero, Koskenkorva – Glögi in winter, Sima in summer – and the unbreakable bond of a metal community.
But our strength goes beyond roaring riffs. With the same determination that we bring to the stage, we commit ourselves to social causes. Finland shows with projects like “Housing First” that toughness and compassion go hand in hand – a principle we live by.
And if you ever stumble upon a lost metal band deep in the forest – don’t worry. Legend says two-thirds of ranger missions are exactly for that purpose. That’s Finland for you.
