Throughout W:O:A, you'll find a concentrated dose of member power at our Official Metality Camp on K2. We've put together an awesome program for you in our festival tent before and after the concerts. Stay tuned! Throughout W:O:A, you can find our team at our Metality info booth in the Foundation Camp. We've got all the best items from the Metality merch collection with us, so you can stock up on new shirts, hoodies, patches, and pins. We're also working on some top-secret special events with some big names in the scene – stay tuned! And of course, there will be plenty of group photos at the info booth (with as many Metalityheads as possible 😉) – so make sure you come looking your best!  

Friday is Flyday is back – weather permitting! On Friday, July 31st, we're bringing together people with disabilities to experience crowdsurfing. It all kicks off at the Louder Stage during Future Palace's gig at 13:45 pm. Come join us as a ground controller and help keep everyone safe! Metalityheads The flight path! Year after year, it's one of the most legendary moments of Wacken Open Air: the hour when the gates to the biggest stages open. Then, thousands of metalheads storm the pristine areas in front of the Faster and Harder Stages. Of course, Metality will be there for the Infield Run! Even more than that: we'll be demonstrating how inclusion can work successfully at the festival! That's why our YNRA team will be accompanying Metalityheads with impairments or disabilities during the Infield Run. Are you a metalhead with a disability and would like to join us? We Metalityheads Celebrating in Wacken – but we're also helping those who aren't in the mood for celebrating. In this case: people living on the streets. That's why our sleeping bag crew has organized another collection drive this year. Bring any camping equipment you no longer need to the following collection points next to shower camps S4 and S2. You can drop off items such as well-preserved sleeping bags, sleeping mats, small tents (for up to 2 people), wool blankets, and unopened cans of food. The collection points are open at the following times: Saturday from 16 pm to 22 pm, Sunday from 8 am to 12 pm. Our sleeping bag crew will also be collecting unwanted camping equipment on departure Sunday starting at 12 pm.
