Even among metalheads there are many people with individual limitations. For them, attending a concert is often associated with insurmountable hurdles and challenges.
 
Here we want to help and provide assistance to have fun!
 
If possible, we will find someone from our ranks who will go to the concert with you, who will give the visually impaired person an arm or push the wheelchair user through the crowd. And when it comes to getting to the location, of course we try to help as best we can.
 
Get it contact with us. Do not be shy! Send us an email ynra@metality.org. Tell us which concert you want to go to and what your challenge is. We will then take care of a solution if it is within our power. What we can't do, by the way, is provide professional care and support on site or provide a longer driving service (over approx. 50 km) - we're just metalheads who go to concerts with new friends and are there for you. We're happy to a great concert with you!

Going to a concert with a disability and an accompanying person. Do you have a disability ID with license plate B and would like to attend a concert with an accompanying person?

You're probably wondering whether there are Campains for you or your companion.

The answer is very simple: mostly yes.

Unfortunately, there is no legal basis for you or your companion to receive Campains. However, it is common practice that most organizers allow the accompanying person to attend the concerts free of charge.

At the Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum, people with at least 50% GdB can enter the site at half price, and accompanying persons and wheelchair users are even free. Source: https://spectaculum.de/faq/

Especially at festivals, it is advisable to find out more on the event's homepage.

Unfortunately, it is not always easy to find out whether and to what extent there are Campains.

The best thing to do is to first look for the concert you want on Eventim.de. If you're lucky, you'll actually have the option to book a free accompanying person ticket when you buy your ticket. Unfortunately, this is only very rarely the case.

Second, check who is organizing the concert you want to go to. At Eventim there is always information about the organizer. If possible, you should call them to get the information you need before you buy your ticket there.

If the organizer cannot be reached, Eventim has a hotline that is responsible for booking tickets for people with disabilities (0421-353638). You should really call this as the last option, as there can be long waiting times and Eventim may have to contact the organizer first.

Unfortunately, a number of variants are possible, such as: The accompanying person does not need a ticket / The accompanying person is included on the ticket / There is a separate free ticket and very rarely - everyone needs a regular ticket.
