On June 6.6.2025, XNUMX, the world again said: eat as you are – World Metality Day was celebrated! Over 30 events around the world, countless unforgettable moments, tons of music, community, and above all: lots of metal.
It was already clear in advance: This year would be even bigger. And it was epic!
- Concerts & Parties: From Braunschweig to Saarbrücken, Weiher, Lingen, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Berlin and even Mexico City – our chapters didn’t miss a single opportunity to celebrate the day.
- Special offers: In Berlin there was an educational trip to the exhibition “Heavy Metal in the GDR”, in Luxembourg there was a celebration at the legendary Metal CHORaoké and meetups were organized at major festivals such as Rock Hard, Rock im Park and Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
- Metal Can Charity: At the event at the Live Music Hall in Weiher, admission was exchanged for canned food donations. Over 300 cans were donated to the Rimbach Food Bank [https://www.diakoniebergstrasse.de/ausgabestellen-der-tafel/standort-rimbach/] – Metal helps!
- Donate: In Munich we were supported by thee Zugfahrer98, official fan club of EHC Red Bull Munich [https://zugfahrer98.de/], with a generous donation of €1200. Thank you very much!
In total, more than 500 metalheads celebrated together in Germany alone. And that's just the tip of the iceberg—there were many more worldwide.
