Between the Rhine and the Moselle, the area around Koblenz has much more to offer than "just" being a world heritage site. Koblenz and its little sister on the other side of the Rhine, Neuwied, have always had a strong rock and metal scene. Just under 17 km further is the small town of Andernach, which is secretly considered a metal metropolis by metalheads. Big names like UDO, JBO, Doro, Rage and other national and international acts regularly perform at the JUZ Andernach.
Today the place to be for metalheads in the Koblenz area is certainly the Florinsmarkt, where our chapter meetings also take place regularly. But that's not the only place we like to come together. Visiting various festivals and concerts is also part of our program, and from time to time we also present ourselves there with a Metality information stand.
So if you're up to no good somewhere between the Westerwald and Eifel regions, the Ahr Valley and the Deutsches Eck, and you live and breathe metal: Our chapter head Sven and the other members (currently around 50 from Koblenz) are looking forward to hearing from you!
