2x666 sleeping bags for the Outsiders outside. YES!
You read that right. Not just 666 sleeping bags, like every year. No, this time
we were able to buy 2x666 sleeping bags and distribute them directly on site in
22 chapters to those in need. 666,000 thanks to over 200 donors who raised a
total of 33621.54 euros. The sum missing from the total costs of approx. 52,000
euros was added from membership fees. We would like to take this opportunity to
thank the more than 1500 Metality members who made this possible. All in all,
that's 3,330 sleeping bags that Metality has been able to finance since our
foundation. And, of course, many thanks to Hanseatic Help, who were once again
a great partner in the process!
Of course we can't pay 6,666 euros. To
be more precise, we can't pay anything. Nevertheless, we are still urgently
looking for helping hands on a voluntary basis to support our working
backline: especially people for video editing, radio contributions, copywriting
and looking after our social media channels. The IT gang is also looking for
more supporters for our growing applications and systems. We currently need
administrative support for Azure Entra and the implementation of apps with the
Power Platform.
