Metalityheads!

Today's newsletter is all about three Metality events with all the relevant facts and an outlook on the Metality plans for Wacken. But from the beginning:

6.6. – World Metality Day

06.06.2024 will be metal(ity)tastic! The first World Metality Day will take place on this special Thursday. There will be meetings and events in various chapters throughout Germany and internationally that you can take part in - regardless of whether you are a member of this chapter or not. 

Show your Metality outfits and share your snapshots from the meetings in our Facebook community. Our social media gang is eager to see your pictures and impressions, so keep your phone busy. For all those who prefer to celebrate online on Thursday evening, we have planned a digital event where you can celebrate with other Metalityheads.

Für alle, die am Donnerstagabend lieber online feiern wollen, haben wir ein digitales Event geplant, bei dem ihr mit anderen Metalityheads feiern könnt. Los geht es um - wie könnte es anders sein - um 19.06 Uhr!

You can participate with PC or Mac using a recent browser or Teams app. On your smartphone and tablet, you have to install the Teams app (via Google Play Store or Apple Store).

14.9. – Metality annual general meeting

Nothing symbolizes our growth more than having to issue tickets for our annual general meeting this year (and certainly in the future)! The meeting will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Underground in Wuppertal. Registration is via our new ticket store. We are doing a registration via tickets to be able to determine the number of attendees. There are unlimited tickets, but there is only room for 300 members in the location. If there are more registrations, there will be an audio transmission to the outside area.

14.9. – Metality Metal Meeting

Which brings us to our highlight in this newsletter and probably this year: immediately after the annual general meeting, the first Metality Metal Meeting (MMM) will take place, also in the Underground! We have been able to book Crossplane and Defender - "The Most Authentic Manowar Tribute" and are looking forward tearing the place to pieces! Afterwards we can party until breakfast with DJ BatBoy from Ballroom Hamburg (known from the "Metal Place" at Wacken Open Air). The show starts with Crossplane at 7.30 pm, admission to the hall is at 6 pm. Tickets cost 26.66 EUR - you as members have the exclusive chance to secure two tickets each (also for non-members) from now until 6 June when we put the remaining tickets on sale to non-members and remove the limit of 2 tickets. One more note: depending on how busy it is, the server can sometimes go down. Be patient and feel free to contact the IT gang in case of errors: it@metality.org. There are only 300 tickets available - so hurry!

Preview: Wacken 2024

Less than two months until Wacken! So we want to update you on our plans for Wacken 2024. We will of course have a Metality stand in the Foundation Camp again and will be collecting sleeping bags and tents at the end of the festival. The campground, which has always been the Metality Camp, has now become a special camping area of Wacken. We are currently coordinating a new location, but this has not yet been finalized and unfortunately we don't yet know which access pass is required. 

We are of course aware of the deadline of June 30th and will definitely communicate which Access Pass you should book before this deadline. You will also receive links to surveys in good time, which we will use to find out how much space you need at the camp and, also if you want to work on the stand, collect sleeping bags etc.
