Ab Freitag, dem 5. Juni, zünden wir die nächste Stufe und stellen unsere Vereinssoftware auf campai um! „Mit unserem rasanten Mitgliederwachstum, den immer komplexer werdenden Anforderungen an die Verwaltung und dem Wunsch nach noch mehr Austausch und Vernetzung war dieser Schritt längst überfällig – aber wir wollten nichts dem Zufall überlassen“, erklärt unser 1. Vorsitzender Florian Döring. Die Zukunft startet jetzt: Wir verabschieden uns von Kurabu und entfesseln campai.

Der Fahrplan: Ein perfekt orchestriertes Multi-Step-Upgrade

Bereits ab dem 5.6.2026 steht für euch die brandneue Vereins-App am Start – eure zukünftige Schaltzentrale für Metality-News, Gigs, Festivals und alles, was wichtig ist! Nach und nach ballern wir weitere spannende Features raus.

Wichtig: Der Austausch in euren Chaptern, für Konzerte und Festivals läuft vorerst noch wie gewohnt über WhatsApp. Aber keine Sorge, der Umzug zu campai steht auch hier schon vor der Tür.

Zwischen Metality und campai läuft mittlerweile eine verdammt enge Zusammenarbeit. Alexander Adam, Geschäftsführer und kreativer Kopf von campai, freut sich riesig: „Ich freue mich als bekennender Metalhead, Metality an Bord von campai begrüßen zu dürfen und gemeinsam vor allem die Community App voranzutreiben, um den Mitgliedern ein optimales Erlebnis bieten zu können!“

Dass das Ganze eine fette Operation am offenen Herzen war, betonen Alexander Nehls (Members-Gang), Tobias Elixmann (Finanz-Gang) und Thomas Imhof (IT-Gang), die die Umstellung zusammen mit einem schlagkräftigen Team aus Backline, Members- und IT-Gang anführen: „Zuerst mussten wir das Fundament legen: Fast 5.000 Mitglieder, zahlreiche interne Prozesse und eine gut strukturierte Vereinsbuchhaltung – da mussten wir uns im ersten Schritt voll drauf konzentrieren.“

Heavy Features: Schneller, globaler, flexibler!

Globaler Support: Ab jetzt können Metalheads aus aller Welt blitzschnell und direkt über campai Mitglied bei Metality werden. Mehr Heavy Metal weltweit! Flexible Beitragszahlung: Neben dem klassischen Lastschriftverfahren stehen für unsere internationalen Members nun auch PayPal und Kreditkarte bereit – ein echter Gamechanger für die globale Community.

Was müsst ihr jetzt tun?

1. Account einrichten: Ihr erhaltet am Freitag, 5. Juni, eine persönliche Einladungs-Mail, um euren neuen Account scharfzuschalten.
2. App holen: Die neue campai-App steht im App Store (iPhone) und Play Store (Android) für euch bereit.
3. Alte App löschen: Sobald alles läuft, könnt ihr die Kurabu-App getrost von eurem Smartphone fegen. Ihr könnt in Kurabu auch keine Mitgliederdaten mehr ändern. Alle alten Accounts werden zum 30.06.2026 automatisch gelöscht.

Der einzige kleine Wermutstropfen: Während die Kurabu-App unser Metality-Logo tragen konnte, müssen wir uns auf dem Startbildschirm nun an das campai-Firmenlogo gewöhnen. „Ein kleiner Preis für viele tolle neue Funktionen und eine deutlich bessere Vernetzung“, findet Florian Döring.

From Friday, June 5th, we will take it to the next level and switch our club software to campai! "With our rapid growth in membership, the increasingly complex demands to administration and the desire for even more exchange and networking, this step was long overdue - but we didn't want to leave anything to chance," explains our 1st chairman Florian Döring. The future starts now: We say goodbye to Kurabu and unleash campai.

The Roadmap: A Perfectly Orchestrated Multi-Step Upgrade

As early as June 5th 2026, the brand new club app will be available for you - your future control center for Metality news, gigs, festivals and everything that is important! Little by little, we're blasting out more exciting features.

Important: The exchange within your chapters, for concerts and festivals is still running as usual via WhatsApp for the time being. But don't worry, the move to campai is just around the corner.

There is now a damn close cooperation between Metality and campai. Alexander Adam, Managing Director and creative head of campai, is very happy: "As a self-confessed metalhead, I am delighted to welcome Metality on board campai and, above all, to work together to promote the community app in order to be able to offer members an optimal experience!"

Alexander Nehls (Members Gang), Tobias Elixmann (Finance Gang) and Thomas Imhof (IT Gang), who are leading the changeover together with a powerful team of backline, members and IT gang, emphasize that the whole thing was a fat open-heart operation: "First we had to lay the foundation: Almost 5,000 members, numerous internal processes and a well-structured club accounting - we had to concentrate fully on that in the first step."

Heavy Features: Faster, more global, more flexible!

Global support: From now on, metalheads from all over the world can become members of Metality at lightning speed and directly via campai. More heavy metal worldwide! Flexible premium payment: In addition to the classic direct debit procedure, PayPal and credit cards are now also available for our international members – a real game changer for the global community.

What do you have to do now?

1. Set up an account: You will receive a personal invitation email on Friday, June 5th, to activate your new account.
2. Get the app: The new campai app is available for you in the App Store (iPhone) and Play Store (Android).
3. Delete old app: As soon as everything is up and running, you can confidently sweep the Kurabu app off your smartphone. Additionally, you cannot update your data in Kurabu anymore. All old accounts will be automatically deleted on June, 30th 2026.

The only small downer: While the Kurabu app could carry our Metality logo, we now have to get used to the campai company logo on the home screen. "A small price to pay for many great new functions and significantly better networking," says Florian Döring.
